New York State Police troopers were dispatched to a Foxwell Terrace residence on Sunday night, following reports of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, further investigation determined that 34-year-old Dover resident Larry May, who was involved in the incident, was in possession of an illegal, loaded handgun.
May was arrested and charged with a felony count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond. He is due back in the Town of Dover Justice Court next month to answer the charge.
